Cruising Info/Tips

Woods and bushes at layby. Go through the fence at the bottom of the slope. Can be muddy. Either walk down alongside the fence in the direction of the motorway where you might find safe sex packets stapled to the fence, or strike out across the field towards the river and walk alongside the bank. You will pass a small wooded area to your right which provides cover. The whole wooded area is used for cruising. There are a number of paths to take through the trees with small hiding places. Some cruising also takes place along the riverside. To access the area, park in the lathe and walk down the path towards the trees and river.

Many men cruise along the right-hand side of the path towards the motorway. Again there are many hiding places within the trees. Occasionally you will find safe sex packs staples to the fence around the area towards the motorway.

To the left of the path, the area is more open but there are a few copses of trees. Within these areas, there is a shelter for fun and a number of paths to take.

Sometimes the area is used by dog walkers and by anglers at the river, do be aware.

Nudity

Nudity does take place but caution needs to be taken due to the location, the use by anglers and dog walkers.

Disabled Access/ Info

Not suitable for wheelchair uses due to uneven ground.

Pet Peeves

Many users park in the lay-by and remain in their cars. The area is also used by dog walkers and anglers.
Some men dont take no for an answer and will pester.
During rainfall and winter months, the ground can become very boggy and muddy. Care needs to be taken.

Warnings

Watch out for anglers by river.
Warnings: Watch out for police visits both in marked and unmarked cars. They have become more regular than they used to be but there are loads of places to hide.
Possible to park in the 3 Nuns pub car park about 2 miles further down the road, so as not to draw attention to the place by parking in the layby at dusk or at night or you could try the Premier Travel Inn car park much nearer. The car park next to the wooded area has now been closed off permanently. There is a small porta cabin cafe located on the edge of one of the lay bys.
